Square Enix Reveals Final Fantasy XV Carbuncle Surprise Promotion

Square Enix Reveals Final Fantasy XV Carbuncle Surprise Promotion

Carbuncle Surprise is a promotion that will be available to anyone who pre-orders Final Fantasy XV from the Square Enix online store. Those players can come back every Friday for a chance to receive a gift.

According to the trailer, the prizes range anywhere from action figures, FF accessories, and wireless speakers, to a custom Xbox One console, home entertainment system, and even an actual car.

Those that don’t win the big prizes will still receive member points for the Square Enix online store.

Final Fantasy XV is confirmed to release on September 30th, 2016, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Square Enix has said it’s “thinking about a PC version” but it won’t launch at the same time as the console version, if at all.

Check out the Trailer:

“Beginning on August 1, Carbuncle will select winners each Friday until the game’s release on September 30. All pre-orders made through the SQUARE ENIX Online Store are automatically entered for the sweepstakes, which commences with the First Prize drawing on Friday, August 5. Fans who have entered the sweepstakes will be eligible to check their winnings online every Friday. Prizes will be distributed to winners post launch, and each participant has the chance to win a prize during the weekly drawing.”
