The PlayStation Store revealed the Final Fantasy 15 Season Pass. The listing says: “The Season Pass allows you to download additional content. This Upgrade is a special deal for customers who have already preordered the Final Fantasy XV digital edition.”
FFXV has a Digital Premium Edition that you can get for $84.99. This includes both the game itself and the Season Pass. If you have already pre-ordered the game on the PSN, you can get an upgrade for the Season Pass at a price of $24.99.
FFXV director Hajime Tabata had earlier stated that they have plans to release DLC for the game, although he didn’t share any information on the type of DLC that can be expected from the game.
Final Fantasy XV will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 30.
“Well, it’s no surprise then Square Enix is exploring the many ways to make its money back. Breaking even on this single game alone will be a challenging task, so to start the Final Fantasy XV saga on consoles, Square Enix seems to scheduling a season pass. A listing on the PlayStation Store has indicated that not only will there be a special digital edition, but there will be additional content coming down the line.”
