First Airheart Update Launched Today On Steam
It was announced today by Blindflug Studios, the Swiss independent developer, that the first update for Airheart – Tales of Broken Wings, called Fall of the Armory, is now available to play on Steam.
Check out the Early Access trailer of Airheart – Tales of Broken Wings, featuring some gameplay footage:
“Dastardly pirates managed to shoot down a colossal cargo zeppelin belonging to Gunmetal Ltd in the sky layers above the game world Granaria. As a result of the attack, masses of downed high-tech weaponry descended from the skies, most of which was unusable, with the few guns left intact almost immediately scooped up. But there are still a few remnants left scattered throughout the sky. With that newfound knowledge Amelia, together with the rest of Granaria’s underside, can now attempt to craft a variety of new and unusual weapons.
Features
- New airplane: fly in the GATI Horizon
- New weapons: unlock new high-tech weaponry
- Blueprints: unlocking weapons for future playthroughs
- New pick-up: a new type of chest from Gunmetal Ltd
- And much, much more!
AIRHEART is a dieselpunk action game about a young woman, who flies her aeroplane and catches skyfish among beautiful sky islands. Amelia’s biggest dream is to reach the stratosphere and to bring down the legendary Skywhale, which promises riches and fame for a lifetime.
AIRHEART allows players to advance ever upwards, whilst building-up their aeroplane in the workshop before heading once more into the stratosphere to take on powerful bosses. Featuring sumptuous graphics and memorable music, the game encompasses a dynamic gameplay model and fascinating core messaging in which Blindflug Studios touch upon real-world problems such as social inequality and overfishing.
