FIFA and PES are two dominators of the football/soccer simulation in video game industry and there’s no doubt in it, but some gamers look for more in-depth simulations in the world of soccer. Football Manager series is probably what these kind of hardcore gamers are seeking for, thanks to the huge freedom and dozens of options that the game provides for players. Football Manager 2019 was a great improvement for the series and new sale figures indicates that the game has experienced considerable sales as of its launch.
According to a tweet by Miles Jacobson, game director at Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2019 family which includes the aforementioned game itself along with Football Manager Mobile 2019 and Football Manager Touch 2019 have surpassed 2 million sales for the first time in the history of the franchise.
The FM19 family (FM/FMM/FMT) has just surpassed TWO MILLION sales across the different platforms – the first time that one of our annual releases has done this.
Thank you all so much for your support over the years. You keep buying 'em, and we'll keep making 'em 🙂— Miles Jacobson 💙 (@milesSI) July 22, 2019
Football Manager 2019 was one of the well-received titles of last year in sports genre that features so many improvements in most of the parts that the series needed to get tweaked. Currently, the game is available on PC and Nintendo Switch. Definitely if SEGA decided to launch the next title in the series for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One along with current platforms, it could easily beat the record of Football Manager 2019.
