The latest update for Ubisoft’s For Honor celebrates the Star Wars themed “holiday” Star Wars Day, or as many know it, “May the 4th Be with You”. The new update introduces players to a new skin to their weapon which gives it the appearance of the iconic glowing weapon, the lightsaber.
While the new update doesn’t exactly an actual lightsaber weapon to let player’s equip, but instead merely changes whichever weapon is wielded to one of the glowing weapon colors – green, red or blue. So while players won’t be experiencing a new weapon altogether, at least they’re given the look of using a lightsaber.
As apart of the Year 3, Season 2 patch there’s no current window for how long the lightsaber mod will be available to players. So if you’re eager to try out the new update, log in asap before Ubisoft removes the update. You can check out the lightsabers in action at the For Honor Reddit page.
