Fortnite Celebration Cup Coming to PS4

Epic Games and PlayStation has announced that Fortnite Celebration Cup PS4 will start on Saturday, February 15 and Sunday, February 16. All PS4 players are eligible and can participate, during the Celebration Cup, players will have the chance to earn in-game items and cash prizes.

All PS4 players are eligible to enter, but must securely slay or survive enough to reach level 15. Players needs to start Fortnite and scroll to the Compete tab in-game for regional times. Every session lasts 3 hours, players may participate in up to ten games. By harvesting the highest points per region will secure a place on the leaderboards.

On Day 1, February 15, top performing players on each regional leaderboard will have the opportunity to earn the following:

  • Top 50% – “Take Cover” Spray
  • Top 25% – “Wild Accent” Pickaxe
  • Top 5% – “Tango” Outfit

On Day 2, February 16, top performing players on each regional leaderboard will have the opportunity to win a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool.

The tension is palpable when the storm dissipates in the final moments of a match. Players scramble for the ultimate high ground, remaining materials go from common to legendary in terms of importance, and even the best strategies seem to crumble under the pressure. Then it happens. Your final opponent dies and you enter the calm after the storm.
