Epic has been really excited to show off what the game will entail. With that, they have just released “A Hard Day’s Night”, a short cinematic to give players a taste of what’s to come. Debuting it first at Rooster Teeth Expo, the short was created by the Fortnite team using the Unreal 4 engine and the game’s assets, to truly represent what the game can do.
Bringing Fortnite to life has been a true labor of love by a talented and dedicated team over many years,” says Darren Sugg, Creative Director on Fortnite. “We’re excited to share the experience and start playing along with more gamers in Early Access this summer.”
In Fortnite, players team up to build massive forts and battle against hordes of monsters, all while crafting and looting within giant worlds where no two games are ever the same.
The third-person action building game, will be available in paid Early Access for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac starting on July 25.
Check out the Trailer:
The basic job in Fortnite’s PvE phase is to find the other-dimensional portal on the map and close it by setting up the Atlas. You can build up any kind of structure to defend it, but once you start the closing, the game sends the undead to tear it down and stop that process. We built an enormous reinforced metal cage surrounding our Atlas. We rigged the walls and floors with spike traps to annihilate anyone who could breach it. We ringed the exterior with jump pads that bounced off anyone who tried to bust down the doors.
