Publisher Epic Games and Disney have revealed more details about the upcoming Marvel themed Fortnite season Fortnite x Marvel: Absolute Doom. The season will start on August 16 and will include several Marvel characters through its battle pass including Doctor Doom, Gwenpool, War Machine, Emma Frost, Shuri, Mysterio, Peelverine and Captain Jonesy. The characters will be available as unlockable skins. A trailer was also released showing several weapons including, Iron Man’s energy blasts and flight, Captain America’s Shield, and Doctor Doom’s gauntlets. Additionally, Epic recently announced that battle pass skins will now no longer be exclusive to the Battle Pass and will be sold in the item stores after a period of exclusivity. “One reason for this change is that we want players down the road to enjoy Battle Pass content such as Outfits based on popular licensed characters,” it said.
