Forza Horizon 3‘s first expansion is out tomorrow and we got the briefest of peeks at it in the new teaser trailer.
Blizzard Mountain will bring with it eight new vehicles and over 50 events and challenges that are a part of the new King of the Mountain campaign.
For players on Xbox One S with HDR-ready hardware, Blizzard Mountain is a visual treat. HDR allows you to see detail in the beautiful snow-covered terrain of Blizzard Mountain like never before thanks to the expanded contrast range available on Xbox One S. Together with HDR, our physics-based rendering system ForzaTech brings even more accuracy to the experience, with sunlight bouncing off the snow and the ice, and frozen lakes glistening under the mountain’s all-new Australian winter skies, all immersing you in a completely authentic winter wonderland. Blizzards add to the challenge as they reduce visibility, but also, are a thing of beauty, as HDR allows you to see the sparkling detail of each falling snowflake in the unique glow of your favorite car’s headlights. In other words, gather your friends around that brand new 4K UHD TV and watch their eyes light up when you make your way to Blizzard Mountain on Xbox One S. “Blizzard Mountain is the first of two expansions planned for Forza Horizon 3, a phenomenal racer that scooped up an impressive 10/10 in our review.
“This game gets my heart rate going like no other racer. It captures the childish glee of playing with toy cars and combines it with the adrenaline of throwing yourself around in a very expensive hunk of metal.”
“Will it last? I’ve had a solid week of this and I’m not even close to being bored yet. Then there’s Playground Games’ history of adding worthwhile expansion packs, which promises to keep things fresh.”
