There are certain games that you can almost always expect to appear during some events. These games serve a purpose as they offer gamers a small bit of comfort going forward that they will always have this franchise to look forward to. For me, that franchise continues to be Forza. Today, the next entry in the long-running series announced its next open-world entry, Developed again by Playground Games. Forza Horizon 5 showcased a trailer during the Microsoft & Bethesda Games Showcase today, and like always, it looks very fun.
Rumors have abounded the game for the better part of a month. Today one of the bigger rumors was confirmed as the game is headed sound of the border into Mexico:
On top of showcasing a beautiful landscape, consisting of forests, rivers, mountains, and a volcano, we also got a deep dive into gameplay:
This time around the franchise will be bringing the Stunning sports car, AMG Project 1 Forza Edition, into the mix . While the game will have all the usual staples, you can expect this game to put a strong emphasis on offroad racing. This does not mean you will have to ditch the sports cars as they seem to handle dirt roads and sandy terrain with ease as you play.
Another talking point is the great pains taken to recreate parts of Mexico. Scattered through the world will be multiple locations and cultural landmarks that you can find. This should not come as a surprise as every Forza Horizon has offered locations that felt honored in their recreation.
Thankfully we do not have much longer to wait. Forza Horizon 5 will arrive on November 10 for Xbox One Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC. It will be available at Launch for Xbox Games Pass.
