Retro fans can finally get their hands on the new content arrival added to the fast-paced action platformer, The Messenger. Titled Picnic Panic, players will travel to a new tropical island location that features new levels, bosses and plenty of other new surprises added to the mix.

The new free DLC boasts a good deal of new content for the Ninja Gaiden inspired indie title. Players will explore Voodkin Island with three new levels each with their own boss fights, sprawling with voodoo and plenty of new enemies to battle your way through.
The new DLC will also add new Shopkeeper stories, more challenge rooms to the experience and secret hidden artifacts to uncover on your continued adventure. Along with the new gameplay elements and features will tag along over a dozen new retro inspired music tracks.
The Messenger is currently available for the Switch, PS4 and PC with the new Picnic Panic DLC available for free.
