Publisher Gun Interactive has announced that it will be releasing almost all content available for the multiplayer survival horror game Friday the 13th to players to “reduce the dependence on database servers.” This comes after the announcement that the game will be delisted on December 31. An update on July 6 will release the 30 most popular Legendary Perks with the best roll possible and no negative effects, all players will be maxed out to Level 150, all kill animations will be unlocked (not counting DLC), and all Challenge Skulls will be released. No more XP or CP will be earned “(since it’s no longer needed) and no matchmaking functionality will be lost.” Friday the 13th: The Game will “continue to function through at least December 31, 2024.”

Friday the 13th: The Game is a third-person horror, survival game where players take on the role of a teen counselor, or for the first time ever, Jason Voorhees. Friday the 13th: The Game will include a variety of kills, new and familiar, that will help you set the tone for the Jason Voorhees that you want to be. You’ll even get to unlock various Jason incarnations from the movies!
Jason will be equipped with a terrifying array of abilities, giving you the control of a hunter at the height of his game. These are his woods, and he knows them all too well. Jason will not only feed off the fear of his victims, but will become stronger as the night progresses. The darker the night, the more terrifying Jason becomes!
