Trine and Shadwen developer Frozebyte has revealed its next game as the twin-stick fantasy shooter Nine Parchments.
This four-player co-op shooter focuses on slacker wizards in training who have decided to forego their formal education after two years of their nine-year academic program.
Further information is scarce, but what was revealed is that Nine Parchments is about a group of “drop-out”wizard apprentices that decide to skip their training for the quick path to the Nine Parchments. As the wannabe wizards set out on their journey they soon begin to discover powerful new spells, and ignore safety protocols. Therefore, it’s natural that their hasty progress results in trouble, and “lots of unwanted deaths”…
Frozenbyte stated that the game is still in early alpha, and that they are aiming for a release in 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
