What if we mix fear of an isolated space station up in the galaxies, with horror of Lovecraftian creatures that roaming all over the space? The result will definitely look like Moons of Madness, an upcoming survival-horror developed by Rock Pocket Games to hit current-gen platforms at Halloween.
Today, it’s officially announced that Funcom have gained the rights for publishment of the game and according to CEO of the studio, collaboration of Funcom during the project will make it possible to the team “to do all the things we wanted to do with the game and the story.”
Along with this announcement, Funcom has pointed out that as of start of this partnering, Moons of Madness has stepped forward to reach new heights through “expanded gameplay and scope.” With a look at Funcom’s history, you can recognize publishment of Conan Exiles and Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden.
If you are interested in games like Alien and Soma, Moons of Madness could be a new experience through the same setting with some environments out of the space on Mars as a chief engineer, who starts to see some supernatural creatures and events that look like hallucinating, while they are really affecting your life. According to the announcement trailer below, the game seems to have good visual quality in showing horrifying and breath-taking moments during gameplay.
