Game Freak launches Steam Early Access title Giga Wrecker
Game Freak, the development studio best known for its work on the Pokémon series, has released a new game via Steam Early Access. The new title is called Giga Wrecker, and is a 2D action game that blends platforming elements with intriguing puzzle mechanics.
The game is currently unfinished, and it’s being sold for $14.99 under the Early Access banner.
What’s most interesting is that Game Freak alone is publishing the title, which admittedly isn’t too difficult on Steam. Whether or not the game will be published on consoles is another matter, but here’s hoping it manages to make its way to Nintendo platforms once development is completed.
