With Borderlands 3 right around the corner and set for release next month, Gearbox Software is beginning to shift its focus on the game’s extensive post-launch schedule. Gearbox’s parent company of Take-Two Interactive revealed during their financial investors report that they will reveal the post-launch DLC plans during this months two major gaming conventions – Gamesom and PAX West.
Gearbox hasn’t shied away from releasing plenty of post-launch DLC in previous released Borderlands titles before, so fans are certainly expecting tons of new content to keep them busy well-after release. There’s already been confirmation of four new DLC campaigns to hit Borderlands 3 after release, but later this month we’ll receive more in-depth details on what to expect from those post-launch plans – quite possibly a release date or schedule as to when we can expect to see them.
Gearbox will first lay some new details for the Borderlands 3 DLC at Gamesom which takes place between August 20, 2o through 25, 2019. Next, details will be shared during PAX West which runs between August 30 through September 2, 2019.
We’ve already seen plenty of footage covering Borderlands 3 to keep fans plenty excited for the release, including character trailers for new Vault Hunter Moze and Zane. Borderlands 3 is set to release on September 13, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
