During Microsoft E3 Press conference, Phil Spencer revealed the much anticipated Gears 5, to the delight of many fans, show casing insane visuals, tight gameplay and a seemingly new direction of storytelling that has not been seen before in the Gears franchise.
The trailer itself has a grin tone to it, showcasing the return of JD Fenix from Gears of War 4 along side the rest of the squad from that game, assume the role of Kait Diaz, rather than JD Fenix, and this time it looks like the journey will take on a personal twist of Kait herself, and the boundaries of what her heritage means to the world of Gears.

The gameplay shows off some new enemies and odd new melee weapons for players to wield alongside their massive guns.
Gears of War 5 will be released on Windows PC and Xbox One sometime in 2019.
