Gears 5 Escalation Mode Gets 25 Minutes of Gameplay

Two multiplayer modes for Gears 5 will become available on July 19 through a technical test for two days. Escalation is one of the modes that has been officially announced a few days ago through a trailer by The Coalition and today we get to see more of the mode’s gameplay thanks to YouTuber “LANDAN2006.”

In Escalation, two armies of five compete with each other to capture and hold three rings on the map. The team that holds it longer enough to get 250 points will be the winner of the round. Every match runs through multiple rounds and winner of the game is the team that wins most of the rounds.

Weapons are distributed on different parts of the map available to get picked up by the players. A new revive system is also available on Gears 5 that allows you to get back to the match after you died for five times. Here you can check out 25 minutes of gameplay footage:

Gears 5 will be coming to PC and Xbox One on September 10. If you have pre-ordered the game or subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, you can jump into Escalation on July 19.
