According to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb in a recent episode of the Kinda Funny Xcast, the next Gears title Gears 6, may be announced soon. During the podcast, Grubb stated that he’s “heard some stuff might be happening with Gears 6 this Summer.” Following this statement, The Verge’s Tom Warren took to Twitter to confirm that the information is indeed “correct”. Back in February, Grubb stated that developer The coalition will reportedly be focusing on producing Gears 6, as the studio is now ‘full steam ahead’ on the title. This comes after the cancellation of two games being developed at the studio, and a series of layoffs at Microsoft that also impacted the studio.
