Gears of War 4 Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer

The gameplay trailer showcases new weapons, executions, and abilities that are available in Gears 4’s Versus Multiplayer suite. These range from the new cover-breaking Dropshot weapon, to the Vault Kick, an offensive movement option available to players.

The game also features both new and returning game modes for fans to digest, including the new Escalation mode which The Coalition claims to be Gears of War 4’s premiere competitive mode.

And finally, Gears 4 introduces a new reward system for in-game cosmetics akin to Halo’s REQ Packs and Call of Duty’s Supply Drops.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition owners on Xbox One and PC can currently join the Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta on Xbox One. Starting April 24th, all Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download and play the beta until May 1st.

Check out the Trailer:

“Is there hope that Horde mode could be included? One certainly hopes so. The multiplayer beta ends on May 1st for all involved and the full game will be available on October 11th.”
