Avalanche Studios revealed today a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming open world game, rendered with the award-winning Apex engine, Generation Zero, coming to PS4, Xbox One and Steam for PC.
THQ Nordic announced a while ago, that they signed a worldwide physical distribution deal with Avalanche Studios for Generation Zero, the studio’s explosive cat and mouse open world action game set in an alternate 1980s Sweden.

First off we are pleased to announce our brand new gameplay trailer offering you a chance to take a detailed look at the world, and enemies, of Generation Zero for the very first time!
We are also super excited to have the chance to meet our fans “IRL” during the upcoming Gamescom convention over August 22-25, 2018. You can be among the very first people to play Generation Zero by visiting the THQ Nordic booth (Hall 8, Booth A11), just look for the remains of the giant “Tank” machine!

All enemies are persistently simulated in the world, and roam the landscape with intent and purpose. When you manage to destroy a specific enemy component, be it armor, weapons or sensory equipment, the damage is permanent. Enemies will bear those scars until you face them again, whether that is minutes, hours or weeks later.
THE MACHINES
The enemies you face in Generation Zero come in many sizes, types and variations. They are constantly challenging you in new ways using different weapons and sensory equipment.
