Get Ready For The Mortal Kombat 11 Closed Beta With New Trailer

With the announcement last week that NetherRealm Studios would be taking to the closed beta circle with their upcoming Mortal Kombat 11, many fans are eager to jump into the action. Since the new game’s reveal at the Video Game Awards in 2018, Ed Boon and Co. have been teasing new character unveilings and glorious brutal gameplay almost every week.

Now, with the chance to try out the latest in the MK world by testing the waters in the closed beta – which is guaranteed to pre-ordering customers – NetherRealm has decided to dazzle us with another trailer showing off what fans can expect in the test run.

Check out the Closed Beta trailer below:

As expected, there’s plenty of blood-spilling, combo spewing, bone-breaking action, as well as the reveal of which characters will be available during the closed beta times. Players can choose up to five of the featured fighters to play as, including Jade, Baraka, Scorpion, Kabal and Skarlet.

Closed beta participants will also have a chance to test out the game’s new customized character variant feature which allows different skills and abilities to be equipped for each character. Also, players can opt away from the online matches and test their mettle in the Klassic Tower mode – the iconic game mode that started it all.

The Mortal Kombat 11 closed beta officially runs from March 27-April 1st depending on your location. Only Xbox One and PS4 players are eligible to take place in the beta which will be available by pre-ordering the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is due out on April 23, 2019 for the Xbox One, PS4, PC and Switch.
