Ghost of Tsushima: Legends Raid is out now

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends introduced its raids on October 30. With the 1.14 update, players who have been grinding the multiplayer finally have something to truly test their metal.Ghost of Tsushima released in July and has been met with good reception for its revamping of the standard open-world RPG-light, stealth/eaction gameplay. In Ghost of Tsushima, the player experiences the island of Tsushima through the lens of Jin Sakai, a man who must give up everything he holds dear, namely his ideals about honor, to adequately deter the Mongol threat on Tsushima’s shores. The game takes place in 1274, Sucker Punch’s version of the Kamakura era . Tsushima, on release, had a good deal of variety when it came to gameplay. Choosing how to approach a Mongol camp provided its own choices, yes, but there was plenty else to do in Tsushima, as well, if the constant hack and slash grew too much sometimes. After finishing the game, the gameplay loop of liberating settlements from Mongols or Bandits or following another fox to a shrine might seem monotonous, so with the release of the Legends DLC, which came free with the 1.14 update, players have another reason to jump back into Tsushima and experience the excellent swordplay one more time.Throughout the main game, players were expecting Sucker Punch to draw from the extensive catalog of Japanese folklore concerning demons and Oni. When the credits rolled, nothing extensively supernatural happened (other than allusions to the wind that guides Jin being a benevolent spirit). Sucker Punch was saving all of the mythology involving the afterlife for its online multiplayer: Legends. This time, players are taking the role of the ghosts tasked with freeing Tsushima from the clutches of the Onibaba, a witch obsessed with taking over Tsushima. With survival mode, a two-person story mode, and a quickplay mode, Ghost of Tsushima was preparing the player for the upcoming raids, the Tale of Iyo. Sucker Punch warns that players will need a full crew of four to take on this evil, however, combining skilled swordplay with coordination. Ghost of Tsushima: Legends introduced Raids on October 30.Gaming Instincts is dedicated to bringing its readers all the latest and greatest news, reviews, guides, and updates for all their favorite titles and more.
