Ghost of Tsushima Might Get Released Within a Year, According to PEGI

Sony is not going to host any specific show or conference at E3 2019, but the company did deliver a huge update on Death Stranding just a few days before this year’s E3, not leaving fans empty-handed during days that headlines are hotter than any other time through the year.

Sharing a new trailer from Death Stranding along with announcing the release date for it might satisfy part of the community but still there are two other big titles on Sony’s line-up that are left with no new update since E3 2018 and if we won’t receive any new information soon, our patience is going to be challenged for over a year. However, while the rumors on a new trailer from The Last of Us Part 2 turned out to be fake, this time around we get to hear new speculation on Ghost of Tsushima and possibility of its launch within a year.

The rumor comes from elderduddy370 who is a Reddit user and recently has found out that Ghost of Tsushima might get released in less than a year, based on its rating on PEGI. According to what rumor suggests, PEGI rating system, which is an organization like ESRB at UK, has listed Ghost of Tsushima for audience who are older than 16 years old. The news gets more interested when we know that games can be rated on PEGI when there are going to launch within a year. In other words, Ghost of Tsushima will be released until Summer 2020 and it’s likely to get new trailer and details about it sooner rather than later.

With Death Stranding getting its release date almost 5 months ahead of launch, it’s possible to see a new footage from Ghost of Tsushima later in Summer and get a release date for early 2020, though previously we’ve heard from Jason Schreier that The Last of Us Part 2 has been pushed back to get released in Q1 2020. All in all, it seems the two other big exclusives for PS4 are likely to launch next year rather than 2019.
