Santa Monica’s Kim Newman recently appear on Twitter using a motion capture suit, she teases that the image is not an old picture of her, when she says “to be back in the suit.”
Of course this lead to speculation and large expectation from fans. Her tweet is now flooded with fans rejoicing about the possibility that Santa Monica is now producing a direct continuation for the critically acclaimed God Of War (the 2018 version).
Of course Santa Monica can also producing a different game. The developer has not made an official statement on Kim Newman’s tweet, or if an unannounced game is being developed at the moment.
Under the leadership of Cory Barlog, the creative director at Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica Studio, God of War has become one of the most successful franchised exclusive of Sony PlayStation. Cory barlog worked as, lead animator for 2005’s God of War and game director for God of War II and God of War III, as well as 2018’s God of War title. For that last project, Barlog won best game direction and overall game of the year at The Game Awards 2018 ceremony.
Back in November God Of War’s director Cory Barlog, teased that a Sci-Fi game might be in development, after a series of cryptic tweets fans came to conclusion that a Sci-Fi title might be the most logical solution to Barlog’s riddles.
“Not only did Barlog tweet this little bit of Morse Code, but his Twitter bio has also changed. His previous picture has now been replaced by a picture of the Voyager 1 satellite, with a cover image of deep space as taken by NASA. The same Morse Code message, “….. ….. …. … .. .” appears there, which a handy Morse Code decoder as well as some sharp Twitter users translates to “55HSIE.”
