Last time that we received new information on Stadia was prior to E3 2019, when Google officially revealed the price and release window for its streaming platform, along with the initial requirements for running games on it. However, we still need to know more about Google’s plans on the platform’s launch. That’s why, there’s going to be a Stadia Connect livestream this month.
Announced via the official Twitter for Stadia, there will be a new livestream on August 19. On the same day, Geoff Keighly will be also broadcasting Opening Night Live for Gamescom 2019. Google will be present at Europe’s biggest gaming expo this year, while bringing the first hands-on experience for all the attendees at the event.
It hasn’t been revealed yet what exactly will be the main focus for the next Stadia Connect, but we might get our first look at one of the exclusive titles for Stadia, developing under the nose of Jade Raymond. We tend to see new platforms always launching with great exclusive titles and if the same is supposed to happen for Stadia, it’s time for teasing the game.
The next Stadia Connect goes live at 10 AM PDT on August 19. The platform itself is set to be launched later this year.
