Polyphony Digital Showcases Public Beta of Gran Turismo Sport at TGS

Great news for all racing enthusiast, Polyphony Digital has recently unveiled at Tokyo Game Show gameplay demos from the public beta of Gran Turismo Sport, which was made open for the public; this game releases exclusively for the PS4, it follows up from their last entry, Gran Turismo 6 which was previously released on PS3 back in 2013.

The gameplay shows gorgeous graphics and a fluid racing experience; This game is expected to be compatible with PlayStation VR. This game is going to be pure adrenaline and the first in the franchise to have a different focus besides the real driving simulator.

“Within Gran Turismo Sport, there is going to be two flagship FiA championships running simultaneously throughout the year,” said Yamauchi through a translator. Players who want to race for their country will play in the Nations Cup, while those who want to represent a favorite automaker can choose the Manufacturer Fan Cup. The winners of the championships will receive their trophies alongside real-life racers, said Yamauchi.”

Yamauchi also added that Gran Turismo Sport is going to be made compatible with PlayStation VR.
