Cygames has announced the release window for Platinum Games’ Granblue Fantasy: Project Re:Link will be out on PlayStation VR and PS4 sometime in 2018.
The upcoming title features character designs by Hideo Minaba, with Koichi Haruta as the producer and Tetsuya Fukuhara as the director.
GranBlue Fantasy: Project Re:Link is a collaboration between Bayonetta developer Platinum and Cygames, and it’s due out 2018 in Japan (there’s no word yet on a western release). Granblue Fantasy is a role-playing series for mobile devices that’s popular in Japan.

“A new gameplay trailer was showcased at the event, along with the reveal of the first character. A returning character from previous Granblue Fantasy titles, the well armed female warrior will be the star of Granblue Fantasy: Project Re:Link with more details promised to be revealed soon.
Koichi Haruta, Granblue Fantasy Producer, CyGames, Inc., took to the stage after the trailer to discuss the videogame, though few further details were offered. Haruta stated that Granblue Fantasy: Project Re:Link was designed ‘for high-end users’, suggesting that this action-RPG title would be targeted towards the core gamer demographic, but failed to reveal much more in the way of gameplay details.
Granblue Fantasy: Project Re:Link is set for release in 2018, for which Haruta stated that CyGames are ‘accommodating not only PlayStation 4 but also PlayStation VR’.
