Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Gravity Rush 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on November 30 in Europe, December 1 in Japan, and December 2 in the Americas and United Kingdom.
Those who pre-order the game from participating retailers in North America will get an alternate white costume DLC for Kat, along with a Select Soundtrack featuring nine tracks from the game. PlayStation Store pre-orders starting August 2 will get an instant reward of 10 PlayStation Network avatars from the game. On the plus side, there will be an anime calledGravity Rush: The Animation ~ Overture ~, to bridge the gap in the story between the two games. She also has a crystallization ability that helps her regenerate health instantly. This is produced by Studio Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion) and comes out before Gravity Rush 2.
Gravity Rush 2 marks the return of gravity shifters Kat and Raven (now a powerful ally), ex-cop Syd, and introduces a bevy of new characters.
