Earlier today, a post appeared on the GTA forums website by a user called tepotuberhacker, seemingly leaking over 90 videos of content to be featured in GTA 6 from a pre-alpha development build, including a video showing the previously reported female protagonist robbing a restaurant, another video shows the same character in a strip club, where a lengthy dialogue is had between side characters. A video also shows the character showing how the shooting mechanics works in a vehicle, and there are also videos showing a male character walking into a store that shows an optional “robbery” prompt, a video showing a new and varied conversation mechanic as well as videos showing the same male character swimming, and many more. Additionally, the leaker claims that they accessed and downloaded the videos from a Slack channel and that they also have the source codes for both GTA 6 and GTA 5 and is threatening to publish them alongside a test build of GTA 6. The leaker later edited their original post, adding a new message following the leak’s circulation, expressing their intent to negotiate a deal with Rockstar. The message reads:
“Ok, so this has gone unexpectedly viral, woke up to 3000 Telegram DM’s. If you are an employee of Rockstar or Take 2 and you’re trying to contact me, send me a message containing 22559219889638875756 on Telegram or you can email me at teapotuberhacker@protonmail.com ** from your corporate email address ** I will try to read all these replies soon – I am looking to negotiate a deal.”
Lastly, multiple videos from this leak are now being taken down mostly from YouTube on behalf of Take-Two Interactive with an official email address, seemingly confirming the leak’s legitimacy. GTA 6 is rumored to launch sometime in 2024 or 2025.
