Halo Infinite Development Is Close To Be Completed

As promised earlier this week, Microsoft’s 343 Industries revealed the latest “Inside Infinite” update, which provides fans with insights into Halo Infinite‘s development.

Following the worries of some fans earlier this week, 343 Industries confirms these updates are intended to very technical and will lay a foundation that we’ll continue to build on over the months leading up to launch. The studio also encourages to ask the development team for more information using  #Ask343 on social media.

“[The Sandbox team] is super busy,” lead sandbox designer Quinn DelHoyo said.

“We have everyone fixing bugs on our launch content and some exciting efforts kicking off for future updates – like-new vehicles, equipment, etc. But we’re pretty much playtesting a ton and looking for ways to polish and improve everything. All of our launch content is in-game and being played daily but it takes a strong effort to get something from 90% to a full 100% ship quality.

“So, we are pushing hard to squash bugs and tune our toys so they are in a good spot as we get closer and closer to launch (and public flighting before that). Additionally, we are taking time to evaluate the visuals of certain sandbox items with the goal of ensuring everything is landing the way the art directors envisioned. As a result, some sandbox items we’ve previously shown might be getting a facelift here and thereby the time you see them again.”

Working on a very challenging year, 343 Industries revealed the disappointing gameplay showcase of Halo Infinite last July, the title had to be delayed to a much later date in order to give the development team more time to work on several issues that the game had, specifically speaking on its graphics.

Halo Infinite is scheduled to launch in fall 2021 for Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One

Halo Infinite was initially set to launch alongside the Xbox Series X and S in November 2020 but was bumped back to 2021 after a less-than-stellar gameplay showcase last July. The title now has a fall 2021 release date and will apparently boast more impressive graphics.
