It was announced today by developer Hangar 13 that Mafia 3 will run at 30 frames per second on the PC version when it launches tomorrow. However, the developer is planning to increase that frame rate very soon.
The upgrade in FPS will come as an update only for the PC version although there are no date release for the patch. Also developers said that are planning more post-launch imporvements on the PC that would give players “more control over how they can tailor the game’s experience to suit their rig’s performance”.
Mafia 3 will release tomorrow for Xbox One, Ps4 and PC.

Hangar 13 explained it is currently working on an update for the PC port of the game that will allow the game to run at higher frame rates. Though no specific date was given for when players can expect the patch, Hangar 13 did promise it would share details “very soon.” A full list of PC specs for Mafia 3 can be found at IGN’s wiki.
Additionally, Hangar 13 announced it will be looking to its PC audience for feedback and suggestions about what performance tweaks they would like to see come to the game in the future.
“We’re actively considering a number of additional post-launch improvements on PC that would give players more control over how they can tailor the game’s experience to suit their rig’s performance,” the developer said.
