Take-Two Interactive President Karl Slatoff held a conference call with analyst and investors, he was asked information about Hangar 13 and the new studio of founded by Michael Condrey. Slatoff revealed that a game is being produced at the moment, and an announcement will take place in the following months.
“In regards to your question about Hangar 13 and also Michael Condrey’s studio,” …“I wish I could tell you more about what they’re working on because it’s very exciting, both the studios. We’re incredibly excited to have the teams at Hangar 13 led by [studio head Haden Blackman], and also Michael’s yet to be named studio as well, working on new and exciting projects.”
“As I said before, our pipeline is very diverse and is very large, and we’re going to share with you more about that in the coming months,” he continued. “And these two projects are obviously part of that. So you can certainly expect that there will be games coming out of those studios. I wish I could tell you more about them, but stay tuned because they’re very exciting, and we’re thrilled”
Hangar 13’s last game was Mafia 3 back in 2016, and fans are expecting a new release in the popular criminal saga. Michael Condrey is helping the development team, he currently owns a new studio in Silicon Valley, the studio is unofficially called 2K Silicon Valley. Coundry is an industry veteran, he is known for being the director of several Call of Duty and Dead Space titles. His latest work was Call of Duty WWII.
Karl Slatoff was appointed President of Take-Two in May 2013. He previously served as the Company’s Chief Operating Officer since October 2010, and prior to that, held the position of Executive Vice President beginning in February 2008. Slatoff is also a partner at ZelnickMedia who specializes in the area of music, direct marketing, broadcast television and radio, interactive entertainment and new media.
