Hardcore twin-stick shooter Rogue Stormers is available in stores in Europe, Australia, New-Zealand and the Middle-East for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The boxed release for console in North America will follow later this year.
Stay alive or start over
Rogue Stormers features fair, but unforgiving gameplay. Once players die, they have to start over. In co-op mode, death is less permanent. Surviving allies can bring their friends back to life. But rest assured, no death is in vain. Even though players have to fight their way through hordes of enemies again, they will still get to keep their character progression.
Rogue Stormers combines classic run ‘n’ gun gameplay with a modern art style, twin stick shooter configuration and all the good things a roguelike has to offer. Every playthrough feels different with randomly compiled level chunks and tons of different perks and weapons.
Check out the Trailer:
The game is a Rogue-like twin stick shooter where the levels are randomly generated along with enemy placement and weapon upgrades. Players will traverse a level while firing with the right thumb stick, eventually shooting their way to the end of the level and taking on a boss encounter.
Along the way, players can find treasure chests that may contain gold, health, sub-weapons, and other things. There are also gamble chests where players can use gold collected to acquire random things. It could be health pickups, a new sub-weapon, or even experience points.
