There are less than 5 hours left till the start of Spring and as you know, some countries use to celebrate this day and it seems game publishers and developers are also trying to surprise gamers today. After Cuphead’s confirmation for Nintendo Switch, now Quantic Dream has announced that three of its latest titles, which were Playstation exclusives, will be coming on PC via Epic Games Store.
Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain will be available for PC till the end of 2019, as Epic Games and Quantic Dream has promised. According to Steve Allison, Head of Epic Games, they are “extremely excited to host such a well-known and established video game studio like Quantic Dream” which seems to be a great privilege for the new founded store against Steam. In addition to this, Guillaume de Fondaumiere, co-CEO of Quantic Dream said:
So grateful for twelve fantastic years of collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment and all they have allowed us to create and produce. We can now expand our products to a wider fan base and allow PC players to enjoy our titles.
Recently, NetEase Games has acquired minority stake in Quantic Dream and now it seems release of these Playstation exclusives for PC is the first obvious result of this acquisition. Regarding this, the collaboration between Sony and French developer is over for any other exclusives, and now players of all platforms will probably able to experience that of Quantic Dream next project.
We are excited to read your ideas through comments about the PC release of aforementioned games, feel free to share your opinions with Gaming Instincts.
