During The Game Awards, Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima released a teaser trailer for his upcoming horror game OD, formerly titled Overdose. The trailer shows several characters modeled in the game reading lines at the camera. During the announcement, Kojima also revealed that he is working with Nope director Jordan Peele who called Kojima “an inspiration” and said that the opportunity to work with him on this project is “truly incredible.” Additionally, Kojima states that development is with the help of Xbox Game Studios and their Cloud Gaming technology, and states that the upcoming game is a game, movie, and “at the same time it’s a new form of media.” Lastly, Kojima revealed that he is working with other collaborative partners for the development. A release date has yet to be revealed.
