According to VGC and Try Hard Guides writer and notable leaker Tom Henderson, Hideo Kojima is reportedly working on a new horror game called Overdose featuring Margaret Qualley, who played Mama in Kojima Productions’ most recent game, Death Stranding. According to the leak, Handerson received early footage of the game, which shows Qualley’s character with a blue dress in a third-person perspective moving through a dark area with a flashlight before closing out with a jump scare. Henderson also claims that the game will be playable in both first-person and third-person perspectives. The game is yet to be officially announced.
Hideo Kojima’s upcoming horror game has been rumored for quite some time now. In April 2020, he mentioned his interest in making a “revolutionary” horror game one day. Additionally, the sequel to Death Stranding, which, while not officially announced, has been confirmed by Norman Reedus.
