Veteran game developer and the man behind Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima, has been teasing fans lately with what could be more reveals for his upcoming title. Last week, he spoke at the Tribeca Film Festival in regards to his new IP starring actor Norman Reedus, and today he teased an image of the death stranding logo via Twitter.
Kojima has always been known to troll his fans with mysterious content, and this appears to be yet another guessing game from the Metal Gear creator. The image shows what appears to be the work of a video in various computer programs – most likely Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier. The first assumption is that Mr. Kojima is working on the next trailer for Death Stranding, especially considering his previous confirmation that we might be in for a new one within the next month.
What’s even more mysterious regarding this tease is that the tweet was quickly deleted by Kojima and then reposted after cropping out what appears to be a time stamp of the video.
Fans are beginning to grow more impatient as the days go by as we’ve hardly seen any gameplay footage of Death Stranding so far. However, we have received plenty of insight on the game’s development progress, including Kojima playing through the game on a PS4 console and making necessary adjustments.
Stay tuned for more updates regarding Death Stranding and what this new image teased by Hideo kojima could mean.
