Hitman 2 To Stay Busy All Year With New Content Roadmap Revealed

Hitman 2 released last November bringing with it the stealth killing, assassination gameplay fans of the series know and love. IO Interactive and Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment are looking to keep the action going, as they have officially revealed what’s to come for the title throughout the remainder of the year in a detailed roadmap.

Plenty of new sniper maps, outfits, modes, items, themes and even a new location are all set to release sometime this year for the sequel in the rebooted Hitman series.

This spring, fans can expect to receive the new Sniper Map Hantu Port, along with a Flamingo and El Matador costumes. The Spring Break theme and new Ghost mode will also be heading over to Hitman 2 this season.

The summer content release will bring forth a new location, The Bank, which will be free for those who have purchased the Gold or Silver Editions of the game. Along with the new location also comes two new Special Assignment missions – Embrace of the Serpent and Illusions of Grandeur. All players will also receive the new Jungle Summer theme.

The Fall content drop will bring over another new location – The Resort – this time specifically for Gold Edition owners, as well as a new Sniper Map, The Prison. With the new Resort locale, players will also receive two more Special Assignment Mission. A new unrevealed outfit, Antique Knife and Halloween theme will also come equipped with the fall content release.

To go along with this three season roadmap is also live weekly content, such as challenge packs, elusive targets, featured contracts and community escalations. there’s also said to be more content to come to Hitman 2 later down the line.

Hitman 2 is available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC with no official release dates as of yet on when these new content drops will officially land.
