Team Cherry Head of Marketing and Publishing revealed that the recently rumored and seemingly teased April 2 reveal date for Hollow Knight: Silksong is actually a “nothing burger”. According to YouTuber FireB0rn, Matthew Griffin told the YouTuber this. However, he also claimed and reassured fans that the game is “real, progressing, and will release.” Hollow Knight Silksong was announced way back in 2019. It’s been almost six years since, and a release date has yet to be announced. Last year, an ESRB rating was spotted for the upcoming title. It states the game will have fantasy violence, mild blood, and more. Additionally, an official Xbox store listing for the game went live where players will be able to wishlist it. This all could mean that Hollow Knight: Silksong may at least be in its final development cycle.
