Impact Winter Will be Releasing Tomorrow
It was announced by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe and Mojo Bones, the launch of their post-apocalyptic survival adventure Impact Winter on PC Digital tomorrow. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digital versions will arrive later this year.
Check out the release trailer of Impact Winter, featuring some gameplay footage:
“Your robot companion Ako-Light intercepts a radio transmission claiming that help will be arriving in 30 days. As Jacob Solomon, you must lead a team of 4 other survivors – all holed-up in an abandoned church – and try to survive until the rescue timer reaches zero. All of your abilities come from your team and your robot. You’ll use Ako-Light to drill for supplies, explore new areas, light darkened interiors and empty nights, carry your supplies, and track your position. You need your robot companion. But does Ako-Light need you?
“When we started working on Impact Winter, little did we realise how big the journey would become. Now, with a week until launch, we’re very nearly here. Impact Winter is often categorised as a ‘survival’ game, but our intention from the start was to try to and build on the genre through our love of Adventure and RPG games: a new take on the ‘survive-as-long-as-possible’ formula that plays with familiar rules. Prior to launch, we’d like to say a final thank you to all our supporters and collaborators. Impact Winter has been developed by a core team of 5 people – a huge undertaking for a game of this scale – and the support we’ve received along the way has been invaluable. Hopefully our passion for creating the world of Impact Winter is there for all to see.” said Stuart Ryall, Co-founder and game designer at Mojo Bones Ltd.
IMPACT WINTER is coming on 23rd May, 2017 on PC Digital and later this year for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digitally. For those who have pre-ordered the game they will also receive the exclusive soundtrack created by composer Mitch Murder.
