The upcoming indie gem developed by House House, Untitled Goose Game, has received its official release date announced by publisher Panic. the new game has players controlling a rambunctious goose who wreaks havoc on the population by participating in random “Goose-like” activities.
Check out the official release date announcement trailer for the new game below:
The game seems to lack any real depth to gameplay, while revolving around participating in everyday antics of being a terrorizing goose on the loose. It seems you’ll spend most of your time being nasty to the general public as you honk your way from person to person.
To get a better idea of what the objective is in the new title, check out the official overview and features list via the game’s Steam page below:
It’s a lovely morning in the village and you are a horrible goose.
Untitled Goose Game is a slapstick-stealth-sandbox, where you are a goose let loose on an unsuspecting village. Make your way around town, from peoples’ back gardens to the high street shops to the village green, setting up pranks, stealing hats, honking a lot, and generally ruining everyone’s day.
Features
- A horrible goose (that’s you)
- A town full of people just trying to get on with their day (you hate them)
- A dedicated honk button (!!!)
As you can tell, the game is a simple adventure title that literally pits players into the wings of a horrible goose. For anyone who’s dealt with aggravating flocks of geese before, this game seems to paint an accurate representation of the aggressive bird species.
So far, the Untitled Goose Game (which is actually the title of the game) is releasing digitally on the Switch and on the PC via the Epic Games Store. the game is however slated to release on the PC via Steam at a later date but has yet to be revealed exactly when.
