Once Joker from Persona 5 found his way into the fighting arena in Nintendo Super Smash Bros Ultimate, things got off to a rocky start. First, the eShop was reported as being inaccessible directly after Joker was released in the new 3.0 patch for the game. And now it seems there’s a new game crashing bug during specific actions used by Joker in Smash Ultimate.
The reports of Joker’s Final Smash ability – which imitates an ‘All-Out Attack’ from Persona 5 – have left many Super Smash Ultimate games frozen, but only during the Classic mode in the game. There’s currently no word of a fix for the game, but it is beginning to be a rather trendy topic when discussing various issues with the latest patch.
Luckily, the issue is only happening during that particular mode, and should be dealt with by Nintendo relatively soon, as they’ve been pretty on point when it comes to fixing various issues involving the latest DLC character to join the game’s roster.
As for now, take extreme caution if playing in a Classic match with Joker as there’s potential that your game could freeze in the midst of his flashy Final Smash attack.
