Just Cause 3 Mech Land Assault DLC Available Now

Just Cause 3’s Mech Land Assault DLC is out today for season pass owners, and there’s really only one thing you need to know about it: Rico Rodriguez can pilot a SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT.

The DLC campaign actually takes place on its own dedicated island called Lacrima, which was specifically built for wreaking havoc with gravity-gun toting mechs. But once you finish up there you’ll still be able to pilot the two mech types back in Medici, and even start a mini ‘Mech Lance with a Rebel pilot if you somehow manage to get outgunned.

Defended by huge powerful Mechs, Rico will need the new Bavarium Power Core rifle to disable their shields and hijack them. Once inside, Rico can use their powerful cannons and the GRIP Gravity Guns to hurl and smash the enemy into pieces.”

The DLC will allow players to “jump and smash helicopters from the sky, or ground pound tanks with the GRIP’s Force Pulse attack.”

If you don’t own the season pass, you can pick up Mech Land Assault starting on June 10 for $11.99 / £9.49.

Check out the Trailer:

“In Just Cause 3, the Mediterranean republic of Medici is suffering under the brutal control of General Di Ravello, a dictator with an insatiable appetite for power. Enter Rico Rodriguez, a man on a mission to destroy the General’s hold on power by any means necessary. With over 400 square miles of complete freedom from sky to seabed and a huge arsenal of weaponry, gadgets and vehicles, prepare to unleash chaos in the most creative and explosive ways you can imagine.”
