The King of Fighters XIV Teaser Trailer Revealed Chin Gentsai, Choi Bounge, and Tung Fu Rue

SNK Playmore is continuing to reveal characters for their upcoming The King of Fighters XIV game by releasing short teaser videos and they just released the seventh, revealing three more fighters. The fighters confirmed in this trailer are Chin Gentsai, Choi Bounge, and Tung Fu Rue who most will remember as being a Fatal Fury character.

While the clawed and drunken fighting styles employed by the latter pair are likely familiar to many fans, the re-emergence of Tung Fu Rue is more of a surprise. While the Fatal Fury character has only been playable in a single King of Fighters title so far, he fills an important role in the overall narrative as the instructor of Geese Howard and Jeff Bogard.

« FATAL FURY » Series’ fan favorite character Tung Fu Rue joins the KOF tournament for the 2^nd time after his participation in the PlayStation® 2 version of « THE KING OF FIGHTERS XI ». Founder and expert of the « Hakkyokuseiken », a martial art in which attacks based on energy concentration, Tung Fu Rue has trained many legendary fighters such as Terry, Andy, and their father Jeff Bogard. Be sure to look out for the venerable master in « THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV », he may be only more than a simple combatant!

CHIN GENTSAI

Chin Gentsai, the Chinese matial arts and Drunken Fist proficient master who always fights bottle a alcool, returns to KOF after 11 participations since « THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’94 ». Will Chin be teamed up this time again with his fellow disciples « Athena Asamiya » and «Sie Kensou »? Be patient, and you will find out the answer soon!

CHOI BOUNGE

Choi Bounge, flagship combatant of the KOF Series who has participated in all the KOF episodes between « THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’94 » and « THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 », is back to KOF with his inseparable steel claws and unparalleled moving speed! Choi Bounge will team up again in « THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV» with his old partner « Chang Koehan », officially revealed a few weeks earlier!”
