Kingdom Hearts Coming to PC as EGS Exclusive

During yesterday’s Epic Games Store Spring Showcase Square Enix announced that the entire Kingdom Hearts series is finally coming to PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive.

Launching on March 30, Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, and  Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind will all be available for purchase.

“It is truly a great pleasure to bring so many KINGDOM HEARTS adventures to PC gamers around the world,” explains series producer Ichiro Hazama. “Our collaboration with Epic Games is one that stretches back to the development of KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and as part of this ongoing relationship, the team at Epic Games have been incredibly supportive in helping us make this a reality. I’m incredibly excited for so many new players to discover and enjoy the action, magic, and friendship of KINGDOM HEARTS on PC.”

The franchise tells a story of light and friendship overcoming the power of darkness, where players take the role of Sora in the magic and beloved universe of Disney and Pixar. Joined by Donald and Goofy, players will meet several other Disney characters throughout the story.

During the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase, the company also shared several announcements and updates from publishing partners.

Axiom Verge 2, Binary Smoke, Oddworld Soulstorm, Chivalry II: Special Edition are confirmed to be exclusive titles for the platform. Magic Legends, Core, World of Warships are new games to be added to the platform.

Rocket League

The Lunar New Year is celebrated with the new limited-time event. As the players take part in matches they will earn red envelopes that can be traded for special themed items and accessories. The event will end on March 1, 2021.

Fortnite

One of the most feared Hunters of all time arrives on the Fortnite Island. Battle Pass owners, complete the Jungle Hunter Quests to unlock the Predator.

Godfall

Godfall’s free content drop, the Primal Update, is now live. Jump in to check out more challenging content and a brand new loot category called Primal items.
