Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV Movie to be Released for Free Sometime This Year

There is a lot of hype building up for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV and it seems that this new entry into the franchise will probably have the most elaborate story and setting that has ever been released in any RPG franchise. Today during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event that was held today in Los Angeles, it was revealed that Square Enix developed a CG movie based on the story of King Regis, the father of Final Fantasy XV’s main protagonist Noctis, as he struggles to protect the last crystal in existence from the empire.

Watch the official trailer of the movie here:

The movie will be free to either watch online and download, and is set to be released sometime before the release of Final Fantasy XV, and alongside the anime, it was developed to add to the main story of Final Fantasy XV.

Kingslaive: Final Fantasy XV is a feature-length CGI movie, that was presented during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV livestream. It will be released before the game and it will be streamed worldwide. It will also be available for download.

Interestingly, King Regis will be played by Sean Bean. Aaron Paul will also act in the movie, playing the role of one of the main protagonists named Nyx.

Last, but not least, it will feature a one-of-a-kind Audi R8 produced in partnership between Square Enix and Audi.”
