Kitana Revealed In Mortal Kombat 11 Commercial Trailer

With NetherRealm Studio’s Mortal Kombat 11 set to release later this month, the team has resourcefully turned to TV commercials as apart of their marketing campaign. In a recently released commercial trailer for the title, a new, previously unconfirmed fighter has made her presence known in the upcoming brutal brawler – Kitana.

The 10,000 year old, knife-fan wielding princess has been a large part of the MK universe since her inception way back on Mortal Kombat II. The TV spot shows off her quick and nimble moveset along with her iconic weapons as she squares off against the series’ unofficial mascot, Scorpion.

Along with Kitana, 24 other playable characters have been announced for the MK11 roster. While favorites such as Lui Kang, Kung Lao, Baraka and Scorpion are present, new additions like Geras, Kollector and Cetrion will be debuting their skills in the latest title in the series.

While 23 of the announced roster are playable immediately at launch, two DLC characters have also been announced as Shao Kahn and fan-favorite Shang Tsung.

Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release on April 23, 2019 for the Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC.
