Koch Media expands to Japan and China – Gungrave G.O.R.E Publishing Rights Acquired

Kock Media announced today the expansion of the publisher into the Asian Market, Koch will be opening two publishing offices in Tokyo and Hong Kong later this year. Both offices will offer a “full range of local publishing services to the group’s international partners including, sales, marketing, public relations”.

Koch Media’s intention is to have close contact with local publishers and developers and help expand the group´s overall presence in Japan, China, and Southeast Asia.

Koch Media is also announcing the partnership with one of the largest development studios in South Korea IGGYMob, developer of Gungrave G.O.R.E.

Andreas Tobler, Director of Business Development at Koch Media who is also in charge of Koch Media´s Asian expansion said he was delighted at the new partnership.

Based in Seoul, South Korea, Iggymob is comprised of seasoned veterans of the video games industry and young, fresh talent. The multinational team is developing console titles across various platforms.

Koch Media’s new presence in Asia is significant. The Japanese subsidiary, based in Tokyo, will be fully operational within the next six weeks, overseeing the group’s activities on the Japanese market. The office, which will be based in Hong Kong, will cover South Korea, SE Asia and China and operations will get underway in Q4 2020.
