Koei Tecmo’s Berserk “Schierke” Action Gameplay

Koei Tecmo has released gameplay footage of their upcoming Berserk game, this week showcasing character Schierke’s action abilities. Schierke is a mage who deals devastating magical abilities, mostly of the AOE variety.

The game will also cover the Tower of Conviction arc, an action packed story arc with some very important developments toward its end.

The game will ship in Japan on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. The download and standard physical release of the game for PS4 will retail for 7,800 yen (about US$74), and for PS Vita for 6,800 yen (US$65). The PS3 version will be download only and will retail for 7,800 yen. The first edition of game will include a code for a special “bathing” costume for Casca.

“Koei Tecmo’s Berserk Musou will cover most of the Berserk story, starting from the beautiful Golden Age arc until the Millennium Falcon arc. Scenes from the original anime and the movies will obviously be in, with the story getting expanded with interactions never seen before,. Multiple playable characters will also be in, in true Musou fashion, with Gatsu, Griffith and Schierke already confirmed.”
